Russian tennis star will become Sony Ericsson’s first global brand ambassador and will participate in creating designing of the mobile phones and accessories for Swedish-Japanese company. This is the first such contract for Sony Ericsson.
“In the seventh year as a company, having achieved significant results as a brand, we must aspire for a new level in this market. Maria’s determination, dynamism, success and charm became decisive in our choice, ” - said Dee Dutta, Corporate Vice President and Head of Marketing at Sony Ericsson.
In 2004 Sharapova has signed an agreement with the American mobile phones manufacturer Motorola.
