Over 195 million smartphones will be sold next year
Analysts from Digitimes Research estimated that in 2008, the world’s supply of smart phones would reach 195 million devices, representing 16% of total sales of mobile phones the next year…

As reported Symbian and Microsoft company the next year would increase their share in the Chinese and Japanese markets of “smart” mobile phones. According to Symbian, nine of the fifteen smart phones with Symbian made in the third quarter of 2007 were sold in the Chinese and Japanese markets.
Next year Microsoft plans to open in China a network of 35 stores, which will sell mobile phones with Windows Mobile, as well as demonstrate their ability. Now the Japanese market has 12 smart phones with Windows Mobile OS.
