Rumors: HTC releases 50,000 Google phones
According to CNN.com, referring to the statement by UBS analyst, the Taiwanese company HTC received an order for 50,000 mobile phones for Google by the end of the year…
So-called Gphone gadgets will work under operating system developed by programmers of internet-giant.
But none of the phones would go for sale. All devices will be distributed among the producers of software for phones and Google officials. Prototypes help developers understand what options have the new OS and to esstimate its potential.
According to rumors, Google OS for mobile phones will be presented on October 24.
