Apple iPhone is far from “green”(video)
In recent months a great amount of articles and reviews were written about iPhone. Perhaps mobile phone from Steve Jobs has been the most debated mobile gadget in the world…
However, not all of these aspects of a popular mobile phone were known. Recently a study was made to determine iPhone’s danger to the health and the environment. In the Greenpeace laboratories Apple iPhone was thoroughly analyzed. The results turned out to be not so good indeed, Apple company has not followed the way of “greening” of their devices, as it was claimed by Steve Jobs during the campaign Green Apple.
In particular such disadvantages were found:the use of polyvinyl chloride, banned in children’s toys and similar products(they are not used by the leading manufacturers of mobile phones) as well as toxic brominated part. It’s steel unknown whether the company would replace the components for their phones, but the Greenpeace report has raised many questions and is actively discussed by different internet resources. For the record: Greenpeace accused the HP and Apple in the production of poisonous laptops.
