In the second quarter of this year the penetration of mobile communication into market of Europe jumped over a mark of 100%. While the market slowed down a bit, yet it got another 2%. Altogether in Europe ten largest mobile operators occupy 270 million subscribers, or 40% of the total market.
Top 20 largest operators in Europe provide service to 432 million people, representing 62% of consumers. The figure may seem high, but it has steadily declined over several quarters, as the new operators are slowly taking away market from more powerful colleagues.
During the second quarter changes in the disposition of twenty leading operators in Europe were really insignificant. T-Mobile, Telefonica Spain and Vodafone Spain rose to one line.
