UMA technology enables mobile phone to switch during the transmission of data from the GSM network to Wi-Fi network, this reduces the cost of mobile communication and greatly increases the speed of data transmission.

One of the first mobile operators to receive Nokia 6301 will be Orange. The phone will cost about 230 euros without taxes. Sales will begin in the fourth quarter of 2007. In a box with the phone will be a stand Nokia Desk Stand DT-23 and a memory card of 128 Mb.
