As expected, the share of the world market for the Nokia company has not remained the same and compared with the first quater in the second quarter has risen to 2%, so now it is 38%. In the second quarter Nokia company has sold 100.8 million mobile phones. Three models were the hits sales in the second quarter: Nokia 6300, Nokia N95 and Nokia E65.

Most of Nokia mobile phones in the second quarter were sold in Europe - 27.1 million phones, the second largest market is South Asia - 25.6 million phones, the Middle East and Africa - 17.1 million, China - 15.9 million, Latin America 11 million, North America 4.1 million phones. Compared with the second quarter of 2006, Nokia showed growth in all regions except North America, this year sales fell to 1.1 million units.

2. Samsung : sales, 37.4 million phones; market share - 13.7%
3. Motorola : sales, 35.5 million phones; market share-13.0%
4. Sony Ericsson : sales, 24.9 million phones; market share - 9.1%
5. LG Electronics : sales, 19.1 million phones; market share-7.0%
