New 3G-phone Vertu Ascent Ti approved by the FCC
It was announced that Vertu (British unit of Nokia) is developing a new phone that supports network third-generation(3G). Yesterday premium mobile phone Vertu Ascent Ti was approved by the federal communications commission(FCC)…
According to documents stored on the site FCC Vertu Ascent Ti will work on the operating system S40. It will support network UMTS 2100, is equipped with 3-mp camera with auto-focus and flash, as well as the display with a resolution of QVGA (320 x 240 pixels).
Date of release and the cost of Vertu Ascent Ti is not known. Perhaps this phone will be sold in Japan as Nokia recently announced that the Japanese will receive Vertu with 3G support.

I think this mobile will surely be negtive for vertu company, they should have kept the old theory that says vertu has no camera.

This phone is over priced an will definatly be negative for Vertu! People these dont need a phone thats over 6g’s. You can purchase a car for that kind of money !!

well iagree vertu we the vertu owner’s know the value of the phone and this phone i guess not for every one.I my self got 3 vertu’s and all are just amazing in short WOW..luv vertu phones.and more over this phone is fr the ppl who beleves in class high end stuff…

vertu must be upgrate to 4G because this luxury mobile phone is useless if there is no laters tecnology which other normal mobile phone have…nowdays people wants better tecnology in their mobile phone…for me it is the best if vertu company follow the trend of the tecnology…

no matter what people say, vertu already had its clients ready before coming up with this technology. I mean each part is hand made, all saphire and titanium. Now would we pay this much for a phone?, no because this phone is useless if you dont get the concierge service which is arounf 2000 american dollars. they reserve restaurans, plane tickets get in a club whithout standing in huge line, and all the high class action. I my self got upset and threw the phone out the window from a seven story building because my little brother used his saved money. He didnt react, he just went down and got his phone, no scratch no nothing…. amazing. i give respect to that.
