According to the manufacturer sales of Motorola MOTORIZRZ8 will began in the near future in other countries in Europe and Asia. Producer positions it as a multimedia device aimed at performing music, video and mobile television. Motorola MOTO RIZR Z8 is performed in form factor of “kick-slider”. New MOTORIZR-Z8 works on a platform UIQ 3.1 under operating system Symbian 9.2. Phone is designed to work in GSM and UMTS with support of HSDPA standard. MOTORIZR Z-8 is built on TI OMAP 2420 and its heart is ARM11 processor with a frequency of 300 MHz.
The phone has installed memory of 90Mb, but the memory is busy by applications and preloaded content. For user data there is about 72 MB of memory, but the memory can be easily expanded with a microSD memory cards up to 4Gb. Motorola MOTORIZR Z8 has 2,2-inch QVGA display with 16M colors, a digital 2Mp camera with a 8-x zoom and VGA-camera for video calls.
The size of a new “media monster” is 109×50x15mm and weight is 112 grams. Bluetooth 2.0 supports such popular profiles as EDR and A2DP.
